Stock items are usually delivered in Finland within 5-12 working days after ordering. For other countries, the delivery time is usually 2-4 weeks. The exact delivery time depends on the delivery address and any additional services. Some products are shipped directly from the manufacturer, which may affect the delivery time. If you order several different products, they may arrive as separate shipments.

Finland
Small items are delivered to the nearest pick-up point (Posti, Postnord or Matkahuolto) or home delivery, according to your choice.
Larger furniture is always delivered to your front door, which means your front door or, for apartment buildings, the front door of the building. Depending on your postcode area, you can choose additional services such as carried-in and unpacking.

Other countries
All products are delivered to the home yard (the front door of your home or the front door of an apartment building).

Receiving the delivery
Always check the condition of the product and the package when you receive it and make sure that you receive the product and the package in good condition. Any damage in transit should be reported to us immediately by e-mail. Please include photos of the damage. If the shipment is delivered by home delivery, ask the delivery service representative to note down any visible damage.

Return conditions
You have the right to return your purchase within 14 days of receiving it. We will refund the payment for a faultless and unused product within 14 days of receiving the returned product.

Please note that the cost of returning a non-defective product will be charged to the customer. The product to be returned must be in its original packaging and in perfect condition to be sold. The packaging may be opened for inspection, but we will not be liable for any damage caused by careless opening of the packaging.

Reklamations
If there is a fault in the product, please contact us immediately by email. Please include photos clearly showing the defect and the product as a whole. Our priority is to correct the defect or provide a spare part. If the defect cannot be repaired, we will replace the product with a new one.

The FRENDI sofa bed has been awarded the 2020 international design award GOOD DESIGN® Award.
Sofa beds usually look like sofa beds. The Frendi sofa stood out as worthy of the award precisely because it doesn't look like a heavy sofa bed. In addition, jury appreciated the ingenious and practical innovation of placing all bedding hidden in the back pillows.

The GOOD DESIGN Award is the world's oldest and most prestigious design award, founded in 1950 by architects Eero Saarinen, Charles and Ray Eames and Edgar Kaufmann, Jr. and The Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design. The purpose is to find and reward the best design from around the world every year. This coveted prize is awarded annually by an international jury appointed by the museum, which selects the award-winning products from among thousands of designers and brands in different product categories. Every year, the museum prints a book and organizes an exhibition of the award-winning products.

General care instructions:

Vacuum the cushions regularly using a textile nozzle and air the cushions outside from time to time. Dust and fibers from other textiles can over time cause pilling on the surface of the fabric. Lint can be removed with a lint remover if desired.

Stain removal:

Remove stains on the surface of the fabric as soon as possible so that the stain does not have time to absorb. You can first try to absorb damp stains with a clean, undyed cloth and, if necessary, use a detergent intended for upholstery. Always test the detergent first on a small hidden area to make sure that the detergent in question is suitable for the fabric in question. If local cleaning does not help, the covers can be removed and washed. When washing, you must follow the fabric-specific washing instructions and we recommend using the services of professional laundries. The wooden parts can be wiped with a dry or damp cloth if necessary.

Color changes:

The wood parts darken over time due to the influence of light. In addition, areas that are touched a lot, often darken more due to dirt and grease coming off the hands. If these dark spots start to bother you, you can fade them out by renewing the surface treatment of the product. In this matter, you should turn to professionals, and you can also ask us for advice if necessary.

Other things to consider:

Pay attention to the correct lifting grip when opening and closing the sofa bed. It is good to tighten the screw connections of the legs and armrests from time to time. Since the upholstery of the sofa beds is loose, they can move and wrinkle when in use. In this case, the fabric can be smoothed and put back in place better.

Can the delivery time be changed or requested?

Answer: Unfortunately, it is not possible. The products leave our warehouse on a first-come, first-served basis. You can ask our customer service for a more accurate estimate of the delivery time. If you have chosen a delivery to your home for your product, the transport company will contact you directly to agree on a more precise delivery time.

Can I choose any fabric for upholstered products?

Answer: The fabrics that can be chosen for our products are shown in our online store on each product's own page. If you're in the mood to get something flashy or otherwise just different, we suggest turning to a local seamstress. Our products are loosely upholstered, so making and changing new covers is easy.

Is it possible to get higher legs for the sofa?

Answer: Unfortunately, it is not possible to order special-sized parts from us. However, the legs of the sofas are made of solid wood and use standard-sized mounting brackets, so you can ask the nearest carpenter for higher or lower legs. You can ask us for product-specific advice on sizing and leg material/color selection if necessary.

Where is my product made and where do the materials used in it come from?

Answer: It depends on your product. We have several different manufacturers in Finland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, with whom we have cooperated for a long time. The reason for collaborating with several different manufacturers is that different manufacturers have different know-how and, in terms of equipment, different capabilities to manufacture different products. We are in constant contact with them and have visited the factories, so we know the conditions under which our products are manufactured. In general, our manufacturers handle the procurement of materials, so there are many product-specific differences in them as well. Most of the materials used in our products come from Europe. This is one thing we are working on, so that we could gather more detailed information about where each raw material comes from. Unfortunately, this is a difficult and time-consuming process. Hieno huonekalu parilla miinuksella

Kaikkiaan hieno tuote, mutta… Olisin kaivannut selvät paikat, mihin ruuvit tulee metallijalkojen puuosissa ja selkänojissa. Ohjeissa nämä oli esillä kuten videolla, mutta ei tuotteessa. Vuodesohvan jatko-osan ja sohvan väliin jäi noin puolen sentin rako vaikka kaikki osat oli oikein laitettu ja tarkistettu.

Frendi vuodesohva

Frendi vuodesohva ylitti odotukset niin laadullisesti kuin ulkonäöllisestikin. Sohva on erittäin helppokäyttöinen sekä toimiva. Vielä odotamme ensimmäisiä kavereita testaamaan sitä, mutta uskoisin heidän olevan siihen varsin tyytyväisiä.

Kaunis ja kätevä vuodesohva

Pidän vuodesohvan harmoonisesta ja kauniista designista sekä siitä, että sitä voi käyttää sekä ryhdikkäänä ”seurustelusohvana”
että ”löhöilypesänä”, kun sitä hieman levittää. Sänky on testattu myös varavuoteena ja vieraat kommentoivat, että hyvät unet siinä saa.
