Washing recommendations: Machine wash on a delicate wash cycle at 30 degrees Celsius
Cushions
Seat/bed cushioning: 80 mm foam, zig-zag springs and sprung belts
The mattress protectors required are on the inside of the armrest pillows
Removable zip covers on the cushions and velcro loose covers on the seat

Care and maintenance
Regular maintenance:
Vacuum the cushions regularly with a textile vacuum cleaner and occasionally air the cushions outside. Dust and fibres from other textiles can cause fabric pilling over time. If necessary, a lint remover can be used to remove the pills. The wooden parts can be wiped with a dry or damp cloth as required.
Stain removal:
Remove stains from the surface of the fabric as soon as possible to prevent them from soaking into the fabric. Damp stains can be soaked up with a clean, non-staining cloth and, if necessary, an upholstery cleaner can be used. Always test the detergent on a small, unnoticeable area first. If spot cleaning is not sufficient, the upholstery can be removed and dry cleaned. We recommend using a professional dry cleaner.
Colour changes:
Wooden parts will darken over time due to exposure to light. In addition, areas that are frequently touched can darken due to dirt and grease from hands. This darkening can be faded by having the product refinished by a professional.
Other points to consider:
It is a good to check the tension of the legs and other screw connections from time to time. As the upholstery is removable, it may move and winkle with use. The fabric can then be smoothed out and readjusted back in place.

Stock items are usually delivered in Finland within 5-12 working days after ordering. For other countries, the delivery time is usually 2-4 weeks. The exact delivery time depends on the delivery address and any additional services. Some products are shipped directly from the manufacturer, which may affect the delivery time. If you order several different products, they may arrive as separate shipments.
We aim to keep the delivery times on our product pages up to date, but we reserve the right to make changes. If you wish, you can ask our customer service for more precise delivery times.
Delivery options
Finland Small items are delivered to the nearest pick-up point (Posti, Postnord or Matkahuolto) or home delivery, according to your choice. Larger furniture is always delivered to your front door, which means your front door or, for apartment buildings, the front door of the building. Depending on your postcode area, you can choose additional services such as carried-in and unpacking.
Other countries All products are delivered to the home yard (the front door of your home or the front door of an apartment building).
Receiving the delivery Always check the condition of the product and the package when you receive it and make sure that you receive the product and the package in good condition. Any damage in transit should be reported to us immediately by e-mail. Please include photos of the damage. If the shipment is delivered by home delivery, ask the delivery service representative to note down any visible damage.
Return conditions You have the right to return your purchase within 14 days of receiving it. We will refund the payment for a faultless and unused product within 14 days of receiving the returned product.
Please note that the cost of returning a non-defective product will be charged to the customer. The product to be returned must be in its original packaging and in perfect condition to be sold. The packaging may be opened for inspection, but we will not be liable for any damage caused by careless opening of the packaging.

Reklamations If there is a fault in the product, please contact us immediately by email. Please include photos clearly showing the defect and the product as a whole. Our priority is to correct the defect or provide a spare part. If the defect cannot be repaired, we will replace the product with a new one.

Where the idea for On2 Fabric sofa bed came from?
"In the mid-2000s there was a clear shortage in the market. All sofa beds were heavy mechanical sofas. They were uncomfortable to sit and/or sleep on and were always double beds. And the guests are not always couples, so there could be some awkward situations when it came to temporary sleeping arrangements. I set out to solve this problem through design."

Designing the On2 Fabric sofa bed
"So my aim was to make a sofa bed that was as light as possible, without any mechanisms. I first tried thin wooden end panels, but at the same time I tried thin fabric end panels as an alternative. They are more suitable for interiors without wood. The fabric ends made the sofa bed look more like a standard sofa anyway. The end panel has a small wooden handle for easy lifting. Otherwise, the fabric end works just like the wooden one."

The sofa bed can be used in any room just like a normal sofa. The frame has springs, that make it comfortable not only to sleep on, but also to sit on. The frames are also not "too" soft and return to their original shape. This also makes it easy to get up. The sofa bed has found its place in many Finnish homes, from city apartments to holiday homes, as well as in living rooms and guest rooms.
A story behind the On2 Fabric sofa bed
"Since 2007, the sofa bed has been produced by a few different manufacturers and has been updated partly according to customers' wishes. The most notable of these have been the placement of mattress covers inside the armrest cushions, the removable and washable upholstery, the increased seating comfort of the back cushions and the springs on the lower bed frame. From the very beginning, fabric armrests have also been produced. You can also order upholstery and bedding as spare parts. Please contact us if you have any questions!"

Manufacturing the On2 Fabric sofa bed
Since 2021, we have been responsible for manufacturing the sofas ourselves. We have them made by our carefully curated contract manufacturer. The method is a combination of serial production and craftsmanship. Machines are needed to make the wooden parts, but the finishing is a collaboration between the human eye and hand. All the upholstery is handmade. To guarantee quality, our manufacturer makes all the bedding in-house.
Immediately after its launch in 2007, the sofa bed was chosen as the winner of the Furniture of the Year award. This was decided by the readers of Avotakka magazine, who voted for their favourites. Consumers were fascinated by the completely new, mechanism-free concept of the sofa bed. The design was also something new, something not seen in sofa beds before. They were not used to seeing design in them anyway. Design was not usually seen in them.
The Furniture of the Year award has been an award given by Avotakka, where readers vote for their favorite every year. The award differs from other awards in the design industry, because ordinary consumers choose the furniture to be awarded. Avotakka pre-selects the candidates from which the vote will take place.
